 In September, 1998 I started Kicks as a shoe lease department inside a ladies boutique in Columbia, South Carolina. I was a tomboy/athlete growing up, so the "shoe bug" did not bite me until college. Just because I was late to the obsession did not mean that it did not consume me! Kicks Exceptional Shoes is the realization of a cherished dream. We grew to our own location in 2000, a larger store in 2002, and a second location in 2007. Also in 2007 Kicks of Aiken opened in Aiken, South Carolina under the ownership of former Kicks employee Kristi. Each step of the way we have enjoyed helping ladies find just the right shoes (or shoes!) and we have loved getting to know you. We love what we do, and hope each and every visit to Kicks locations (or the new website) is nothing but fun! Thanks for your business, and here's to many more years of shoe obsessing together!
